Believe me and vote for me.

Instead they basically say:
Here are the lies my opponent has told about himself.
Here are the lies my opponent has told about me.
Here are some ugly pictures of my opponent.
Believe me because I can smear better than my opponent.

Who are you going to vote for.  I believe that Gov Beebe is good even if he is a Democrat.
I believe that Blanche Lincoln is Bad even if she is from Arkansas.
I believe that Pat O'brien is Ugly.
I also believe that Blanche is uglier.

I believe that Mark Martin should be driving a race car.

What do you believe.

Do you play online games ?  Do you like to play games?  It is amazing how these types of games can get to you and you just want to play more.  Online games are fun and can always be played almost anywhere as long as you have that online games access.  Why is it that we like these challenges?


I believe that the reason that we like these online games so much is the competitive nature that is in most of us.  Yes, almost everyone of us have that competitive person inside of us.  We want the challenge of winning but most of us do not have the ability to play competitive sports and this is our way of outlet.  We can get it on without getting it hurt.

Hogs - Houston Nutt - Bobby Petrino

This Saturday at 11:20 the game begins.  The team that put up 43 points and still lost last week now gets to take on the Ole Miss Rebels.  There is more than a game at stake here.  There is pride in beating the former coach that used his rah rah in Arkansas to get himself finally booted. 

Coach Houston Nutt could motivate but could he coach?  How does he compare to coach Bobby Petrino who has almost no RAH RAH?   Who is the better coach and who has the better team.

My opinion at this time is that Petrino has the best team in the hogs and he is the best coach.

Golf - Vacation - Avista Resort!

Where do you go from gorgeous Arkansas to have a great vacation and play some great golf. Let me see what might be out there for the wife and me to do. Where should we go. Well, maybe we should go to a fabulous place that can be found by visiting the website athttp://avistaresort.com What place might that be that I am talking about. That place might be Myrtle Beach and I might just find that just right Myrtle Beach hotel and the right golf course for aspiring game.

So what resorts in Myrtle Beach do I want to look at.  Well, maybe I should try out Avista Resort in North Myrtle Beach.  That sounds like a great place to stay.  I wonder what the golf is like close by.  Well, lets look at the web site and check it out.  This is what I really like.  I am much into shopping for most anything right here from my easy chair.  This makes decisions and selections very easy.  Why did they not have this Web thing 20 years ago.

Fall - Dry Colors

An opportunity was had today to go through some of what should start to be some colorful areas of Arkansas due to the beginning of fall foliage.  Well, there was some beginning color out there but it was definitely because the trees had become dry not because the colors were changing.

It does appear that there is going to be some brief color but they are not going to be bright and as sharp as other years.   More brown than bright orange etc.

Arkansas has done better but it is still very nice.

Arkansas Fall is coming

Fall is coming to Arkansas.  The question is - how pretty is it going to be.  There is always some color change each year before the leaves are off the tree.  There is differences each year though depending on the moisture of the year.

This year has been dry in last few months.  This probably means that the colors will come early and will only be for a few days.  That is because the color is from the trees being too dry and not from natural color change.

I guess we will wait and see but it is obvious that fall is coming but may be over quickly.

Arkansas Vs Alabama

Arkansas is in a frenzy. Their Arkansas Razorbacks who are number 10 in the nation have a chance to play in Fayettville the number one Crimson Tide from Alabama. As they say to be the man you got to play the man and that is what Arkansas is doing this week.

This is the week for the Hogs to put up or shut up. If the fans could play - I believe they are ready. The talk shows are full of hot enthusiasm. There are fans all over who are ready to get it on and get into the heat of the game.

The question is can we do it. Are we all talk and all mouth. After this weekend will we be just caught with our mouth open or will we be able to say that we took on number one and beat them out of their precarious position.

Tomorrow will tell.

Arkansas is great and a beautiful place but this is where I live and work and hangout all year.  So what should I do to get away.  I think that I should go on a beach/golf vacation.  I like to golf, my wife likes the beach and we both like to travel.  So the search is on for that place to play golf and go beaching.

Hogs Win- Mallett for Heisman

For those nay sayers such as Michael from Stuttgart on 103.7 the buzz -  that Ryan Mallett can't win on the road.  -- BOO-  They did it and Ryan Mallett was big reason.  Final few seconds - pressure is on and he did it - CHILDS PLAY!

22 OF 33 lets see this is 67% passing against an SEC team.

Granted - can they do it next week against Alabama.  Well,  Mark May of ESPN says that with his performance Mallett is still the front runner for the Heisman Trophy.

Hogs Tomorrow

The Hogs - The Razorbacks - They play tomorrow against Georgia. The question is whether or not they can get the job done against a fairly good team. 

Yes, Arkansas has done ok against a couple of no names but tomorrow they have the chance to show that they can do it against a lot better team. I believe that they can do it.

Heisman Trophy Race

I just heard on the news tonight that the Heisman trophy race is heating up.  Their are several quarterbacks that are named right now as being in the running.  Ryan Mallet with The University of Arkansas Razorbacks was said by ESPN to be the leading candidate as we speak.

What makes him so hot right now?  Look at his statistics.  I do not have those with me right now but just take a look at his passing yardage.  He also has some fair rushing yardage.  He has thrown for 6 touchdowns in two games. 

Granted both games were with just better than High school football teams but what the hey.

Here we go Mallet - Petrino - Childs - and everyone else --- go hogs.

Great Planters at Eplanters.com

 Arkansas is a beautiful state especially as summer ends and fall comes to life.  One of the things to me that has always seemed like a good idea at this time of the year is outdoor planters, Why do I think this is such a good idea.  Well, I believe it is a good idea because you can plant some plants in a great outddor planter and then as the weather goes even cooler these planters could now become indoor planters.

Yes, just think of it.  You not only have a great outdoor planter but to supplement an other indoor planter you can bring a great looking outdoor planter to the indoors and make it work.  May look a little rustic or it can look elegant.  Most of the look that you get relies on the planters that you choose and the decor that you get.

Well, this has given me some great ideas and makes me have that desire to get out and get some planting done.  What about you.  Are you ready to plant.

Football Calls

Did you see the controversial call in the NFL yesterday.  Can't remember which game it was right now but saw the play over and over.  Seems like the receiver caught the ball, spun around with the ball clearly in control and then hit the ground.  Just as he started to jump up the ball hit the ground and flew out of his hand.

It appeared to me that he clearly had control and should have been called a touchdown.  Ruling was that he has to have control all the way through the play to call it a catch in the end zone.   Many other plays such as this were shown with a different call.

Consistency is the answer.  Why can't we have it

That is my question.
