Great day in Arkansas

In case you haven't heard the weather is going to be great and it would be wonderful to be outside in Arkansas today.

Want to do a great day like this. Let's see. Did we want to go fishing. Do we want to go hiking. Do we want to go see the states wonderful outdoors.

No lets go furniture shopping and then let's go see the grand baby. That will be at the okay day.

Duck Dynasty came to Arkansas

Willie is a Graduate of Harding University in Searcy Arkansas. Willie came and talked to those folks about family values and preached the Bible. Willie is a great guy. Chase and the Duck Commander are good guys too. Getting across family values in a funky way is great. This proves that anyone can make it in America if Obama Will leave them alone. However with Obama in charge it may be hard for hot naked women to make a living in the wet and wild rain forest in Belize. Even if they are Robin Roberts on the REd carpet at the oscars it might not work. And that is what is happening in Arkansas. Go Duck Duck Dynasty - Win an Oscar.

What about those hogs

The Razorback basketball team went to Alabama and stunk it up again. They started out week but second half was a better story.

Fans were very excited as the second half was coming to an end and the Hogs were tied.  Then the usual happened. They lost the road game.

What else is new.

Belema on Vacation

Belema took a good long vacation is what they say. 

Did he take Jen his beautiful wife with him.

Better not leave her alone in NW Arkansas.  Someone will come along with a Harley and take her for a RIDE!

Bret Bielema and the Blacks

Coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks seemed to be putting together an all white coaching staff.  The sports talk shows were beginning to get calls from the blacks saying why.  Is he racist.

Too late.  Just a little while ago he named his first black coach.  George McDonald, who is considered one of the most prolific recruiters in the country and who has coached an extensive list of NFL pupils, has been named Arkansas' wide receivers coach,

What is Razorback made of. It appears that John L Smith has turned our Razorbacks into squealing little piglets.

What were you listening to on your headset John L Smith last week during the ball game. Were you listening to the ball game or were you listening to fairy tales about 3 little pigs.

It's obvious you're not listening to any one that knew how to run the football. When we need to eat up time on the clock all we did was pass pass pass off. We ran 16 seconds off of the clock when we needed to run off three to five minutes.

Take charge John L Smith turn this into a team.  Beat Alabama.

 On the way to work today this is what the phone saw in my rear view mirror.  They were going somewhere instead of work.  Maybe I should get on my horse and ride with them.

Arkansas is beginning to get excited.  It is only a couple of weeks until the beginning of football season.

How Hot is it in Arkansas

IT'S SO HOT in Arkansas .....the birds have to use potholders to pull the worms out of the ground….the trees are whistling for the dogs.

The temperature drops below 90 F and you feel a little chilly.
You discover that in July it only takes two fingers to steer your car (one on each hand).

Can an Arkansan have fun in the heat.  What do we have.  Water parks, fishing on the cool Red River, museums that are top notch, nature centers that entertain and educate about the outdoors and much more.

On the creek on the fourth

No fireworks to shoot but time is fun

It's too hot and dry for the sparks to fly

So I decided some fishing is what I would try.

I caught only 1 but it was great fun

A grinnel it was and it was mean as it could be.

I put it back in the water to get it away from me.

That's the end of the fishing for this old slouch

Will probably spend the rest of the fourth sleeping on the couch.

And that's life in arkansas.

How hot is it!

It is june 27th in arkansas and it is hot!.  Everything looks as if it's mid august.

We are going into the summer hot and dry with no more moisture.

We have hot summers in arkansas but usually we have some wet weather before that!

What are we going to do!
