Just came back from a family trip for reunion to Texas Panhandle. I used to live in Texas and think that it was hot. Well it is hot but not miserable.
While there in the late afternoon and evening we could sit in the shade with the 20 mile an hour wind blowing and be comfortable even if it was in the 90's. Drove back to Arkansas and attempted to sit on the back porch in the late afternoon in the shade. The temperature was about 93 and the humidity was about 75%.
Sweat was dripping in about five minutes and it was miserable.
Arkansas is a good place to live but 92 hurts worse here than it does in Texas Panhandle

It was a good week weather-wise for the reunion. What wind???? I never noticed.
Ooo boy, sure could use some of that wind, that's for sure. Even a little stir would go a long way in moving this Arkansas humidity around!
