Spanish, French, Lousiana and Arkansas

Wikipedia says the following:

The first European to reach Arkansas was the Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto at the end of the 16th century. Arkansas is one of several U.S. states formed from the territory purchased from Napoleon Bonaparte in the Louisiana Purchase.

Well it looks as if we are going back to our roots. The Spanish population in Arkansas has grown significantly over the past 10 years. Maybe they are looking for Mr. Desoto.

I think it is great that we seem to becoming a more diverse society.

One thing I am glad is that even though we were a part of the Louisiana Purchase we are not known as Louisiana.

They are one of the few things that keep Arkansas from being first in bad statistics.
