Mike Leach? Tommy Tuberville?
Willy says that the real truth is that Tuberville is in the state duck hunting and that this means that if the duck hunt is good that he will be the next coach. But if the hunt is not good, then Mike Leach will be the new coach.
It is kind of like the groundhog in February seeing his shadow. Good hunt - Tommy comes over. Bad Hunt Tommy takes his load of money at Auburn and Mike Leach comes over.
So there you have it. Who will it be.
What was the duck hunting like today guys. Did anybody see Tuberville at the World's Duck Calling contest in Stuttgart.
My thoughts for now!
Mike Leach for Coach of Arkansas Razorbacks. Where is Tuberville?
Check out Mike Leach speech to team. This is the kind of person that I want to coach Arkansas Razorbacks.
And we all know as fans that the most important part about hiring a new coach is pleasing me.
I dont care about anyone else or what is best for the team. I want entertainment.
Go Hogs - Go Mike Leach. Where did Tommy Tuberville say he was staying - Auburn

New Coach is a Cinch! Mike Leach
Willy has only been wrong on his predictions once since he starting prognosticating. His only wrong prediction was that Billie Gillispie was coming to Arkansas. Well, that was the start of Willys career and he has only one wrong to date. None out of one aint bad.
But watch the video below and see if you think Mike Leach could predict the weather if he were in Arkansas!
Arkansas Razorbacks and Reggie Herring

I love this guy. I don't know that I would want him as head coach, but he could sure be head communicator.
Everytime he gets in front of a microphone or a camera he comes off good and is very entertaining. Maybe that is what we need. Some of the Nutt haters say that the game was not entertaining enough. Well, I bet it would be under Reggie.
Well, enough of that. I will reveal a little later who my sources say is already in the clubhouse as a done deal.
More later!

Tommy Tuberville - Stay Away Arkansas
However, sources say that when Arkansas came calling Tommy used it as leverage to get contract negotiations to commence for a longer contract. Rumor has it that Tommy would like Arkansas to be the job he takes after the next coach quits in about five years.
This way Tommy would be in the state he loves and where he wants to retire as his last stint in coaching. He would let the University of Arkansas move him home in about 5 to 7 years. He would coach for about 5 years and retire.
Great thinking!
My thoughts on Houston Nutt and Tommy Tuberville for now.
Who will the next coach now. I believe Arkansas will be taking one from Texas Tech.
What are your thoughts.

Houston Nutt is Gone!
He is a good guy -- just a little too self centered, egotistical and not that great of a play caller. Did some one say 4th and goal and Darren is not in the Ball game. Glad Felix is tough.

Razorbacks Win - Bye Houston Nutt!
Many of the Houston backers will say that this shows just what they had said which is that Houston is a great coach. Those who hate Houston will say Why hasnt he done this all along.
My thoughts are - He has made many bad decisions all year and I believe that with a few different calls in this ballgame he would not have had to go into overtime to win. He could have won it early.
And one thing that I will never understand is why so many times in crucial plays he has Darren McFadden on the sidelines.
Houston Nutt - Sorry but you need to go.

Houston Nutt - Gets Gus Light Award - Real Men of Genius!
A great example of questionable coaching comes when there is 4th and inches, Arkansas has three of the greatest running backs in college football today and we put the lesser one of them on the field by himself to run into what would undoubtly be a sea of orange.
Peyton Hillis - thanks for the effort - not your fault - What was the coach thinking. Put everyone of your great backs out there and give Tennessee three choices of who to stop.
This youtube video was passed on to me via email. - It expresses many fans sentiments! - Notice it is presented by GUS Light!

Arkansas Razorbacks? - Basketball Season yet?
In so making this my home, I have also adopted the passion that many have in this state for the Razorbacks. It was first basketball under Nolan Richardson, and then Football under Houston Nutt.
Well, even though I think that Houston Nutt is still an good man, I now question his coaching ability when he goes from having a great pre-season favorite team with high expectations to a mediocre team just looking to maybe get to a poor bowl game.
Yes, it becomes a crazy passion but I believe we need to fire Houston Nutt and get on with the football program.
All I can say now is bring on Basketball.
Mediocre -Razorbacks?

Well, today is a defining moment in the life of the Arkansas Razorbacks. They play South Carolina whom Darren McFadden has had an excellent career running against.
The questions today are:
- Will Darren have another great day against this team or will he just be mediocre because he is surrounded by a mediocre team.
Will the team come together and play well and define that they really are a good team as expected at the first of the year or will they play as mediocre as they have become.
Will Houston Nutt pull out a good game and thus hush some of the naysayers or will he coach a mediocre game and be done at the end of the year.
If the Razorbacks dont show something today - it is obvious they are not going to show anything.
My guess is mediocre in most cases will shine except that the fearsom three - Hillis, Jones, and McFadden may have flashes of brilliance. Otherwise it will probably be a mediocre game and Houston wont be able to brag that "he called that play"
Thanks Houston for 10 years now "bye -Bye"

Arkansas Razorbacks - Win Again!
Interesting thing though is - even though the defense came up big, if I am not mistaking this is the most this team has scored any many games. I dont understand that. Maybe our defense only looked so good because it was like a high school team.
Well, next week we get to go against a Carolina team that should have been a big game but they lost one that they shouldnt have and now it is not even going to be on TV.
Well - there is always next year and maybe without Houston Nutt!

Game Day Razorbacks! - Game Day UCA
Yes - we have on schedule today one of the greatest high school teams in the nation. Florida International. How can this be you ask. Why would we play someone so far away when we have some formidable teams in state that Arkansas could play.
There is the old "Why doesnt Arkansas play Arkansas State" - that would make sense and would draw a crowd.
And now there is the "Why doesnt Arkansas play University of Central Arkansas" Yea - Arkansas might win, but they would see a great quarterback in Nathan Brown. and there would be lots of state interest.
Did I say that I believe it is time for Houston to go.
And by the way - What was that Malzahns name and who was this phantom called Mustain?
my thoughts of Football for now!

Arkansas Razorbacks - Missing in Action?

Will Houston Nutt Call a good play?

Will Peyton Hillis get to touch the ball?

Will Marcus Monk play and risk injuring himself worse against a high school team?

Will Darren and Felix score quickly and then cheerlead from the bench?

Only Saturday will tell? -----------HOW DID THAT PICTURE OF GUS MALZAHN GET THERE!

Razorback Miracle - Go Houston...Please!
Yes I understand that maybe the opposition wasn't that great -- but Arkansas did win. Unlike times in recent past when they were playing glorified highschools and could barely pull out enough plays to get er done.
Go Razorbacks! Go Darren! Please go Houston!

Gus Malzahan - Ode To Houston Nutt
That worried Houston Nutt
Gus, Gus has gone away
To where his own plays he can strut
Well Gus told his Momma on the day he was born
Don't you cry when Houston says I'm gone
You know there ain't no Nutt gonna call my plays
I just got to keep traveling on
Yes, there ain't no Nutt in this whole wide world
Gonna tell me how to call my stuff
I'm just a good coaching rambling man
Singing, Houston Nutt you ain't so tuff
I don't care when the sun goes down
Where I lay my weary head
Tulsa is not such a rocky road
It's there I've gone to lay my head
Gone, Gone, he's gone they say
These words worry Houston Nutt
Gone Gone he's gone they say
They are going to fire Houston's Butt!

Petition - Fire Houston Nutt - Razorbacks Win
We knew that it would soon be out there - Fire Houston. Check it out
You can go to the site link above and see the petition. I am sure that there are others. Because we all understand that Houston is the Problem.
We even find that Drive Time Sports - Rick Shaeffer - sounds a little skeptical. Not as sure of the outcome.
Where do we go from here - Basketball

The Hog Blogger

Below is a clip from this site: Check it out and check out thehogblogger:
--------------------------------
Booing is no longer the issue. The wording on the banner, the color of shirts in the stands, the haters from the north all pale in comparison to the fact that Arkansas is simply not getting things done on the field. Whether we pass on first down and who is injured really doesn’t matter anymore.
What does matter is Arkansas is 0-3 in the conference and now on the verge of losing a great number of its life-long supporters if change is not made. I find it embarrassing that our biggest win in this 2007 season is over Troy.
How can a team featuring the two most potent running backs in all of NCAA football not come up with a game plan that passes effectively just enough to let them showcase their talents? For at least the last two weeks we’ve trailed all SEC teams in completions to wide receivers and tight ends. My experts are telling me that just won’t do.
How can we lead late in all three of our conference losses and tease the fans with a taste of victory only to fold like a two-bit poker player down the stretch when other teams bring it? It’s tantamount to having all six numbers on your lottery ticket matching only to find out it is one week off.
And to top it off, yesterday Houston Nutt incredulously waved his contract at the state announcing that he is to be here until 2012. Does he not get it? Instead of looking at what few things have worked this season and trying to build upon them he instead looks Razorback nation in the eye and dares us to knock him down.

Fire Houston Nutt - Hire Gus Malzahn
