The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. Held annually in hundreds of communities across the country, this inspiring event calls on volunteers of all ages to become champions in the fight against Alzheimer's.
Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $225 million. Team captains are needed NOW! Team Captains need to sign up early to ensure they have enough time to recruit a team and raise funds for the cause!
Memory Walk
What a great way to support something that now or in the future will be something that probably will affect all of us. A team for a Memory Walk for the Alzheimer's Association is something that all of us could do to help find a cure for this disease.
Team Captains are needed and it would probably be one of the most rewarding things that a person could do to be a team Captain and start a team to support this worthy cause.
Starting a team is easy. It is very much a networking thing. You can invite three people, and they'll invite three people - and before you know it, you'll have a team. Team members can be recruited from family, friends and work colleagues to join your team - and ask for donations.
Not only can this be a great money raising event, but my experience is that when you organize or participate in something like this you gain a closer friendship and kinship with your team members.
Become a shining light in your community and become a team captain for this cause.
