Did you see the controversial call in the NFL yesterday. Can't remember which game it was right now but saw the play over and over. Seems like the receiver caught the ball, spun around with the ball clearly in control and then hit the ground. Just as he started to jump up the ball hit the ground and flew out of his hand.
It appeared to me that he clearly had control and should have been called a touchdown. Ruling was that he has to have control all the way through the play to call it a catch in the end zone. Many other plays such as this were shown with a different call.
Consistency is the answer. Why can't we have it
That is my question.
