When I moved to Arkansas about 18 years ago, I had never heard of the need for termite control. At that time I did not understand that how in a damp climate such as Arkansas which receives about 50 inches of rain a year that a small insect could almost destroy an entire home.
It was not long after moving to Arkansas that a neighbor had an infestitation of termites in his home. The dining room wall was almost destroyed before he realized that he had a problem.
